Balcony doors are designed to have a single operational handle that is placed inside. They can be single or double (French) doors, opening in or out, and are meant to provide more glass area because of a slimmer frame sight line overall. When outdoors, a hidden snap-in mechanism and a unique handle allow the door to be temporarily closed. Balcony doors can be either standalone, built with sidelights and/or fanlights, or part of full curtain walling screens.
